Biography
Senaji DV Anyanje is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, Commissioner for Oaths, Notary Public, and a Certified Data Protection Officer. He holds a Master of Laws in Information Technology and Telecommunications from the Open University of Tanzania; a Master of Laws in Information Communication Technology from the United Kingdom Telecommunication Academy; a Bachelor of Laws from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa; and a Post-Graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. His work encompasses dynamic and versatile legal practice, research, advisory, and writing. In his professional and academic path, he has set out a dedicated experience in Data Privacy Law, Cyber Security Law, Employment and Labour Law, Intellectual Property Law, Social Media Law, Real Estate Law, Family Law, Commercial Law, and Air & Space Law. He also has experience in consultancy specializing in legislation, policy, and regulation. On the ancillary aspects of legal practice, Anyanje remains active in academia, capacity building, and training. He also acts pro bono for special interest groups (vulnerable and indigent).

- Advised a shareholder/director in relation to a family business valued at Kshs. 8 billion including the institution of derivative action and restitution of the client as director of the company and subsequently negotiated a shareholder’s agreement in a 50:50 owned hotel business.
- Advised an Embassy on the acquisition, registration amalgamation, and conversion of property valued at Kshs. 300 million
- Successfully litigated for Nairobi County in a case for illegal and fraudulent transfer of public land valued at Kshs. 1.5 Billion to private citizens
- Acted for a Company in a Joint Venture Real Estate Project including a Change of User from a single dwelling to a multi-dwelling valued at 420 Million
- Successfully represented a private client in Arbitration and Reference for Breach of Conveyancing Contract
- Successfully represented an employee in a defamation case for Kshs. 7 million
- Advised a tech company on intellectual property in app development and SLAs with independent developers
- Representing online content developers and influencers on merchandising and image rights
